Terms of Service

Last updated: August 19, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using "playhub" (the "App"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. Service

The App is a tool that lets people in different places each record their own part, stack the parts up relay-style, and make a single ensemble track. You can invite your bandmates by handing them a share code, and you can submit recordings to have them included in a song.

2. Pricing

The App is free to use for up to three songs that you start yourself. To start more songs than that, an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) is required. Prices are those shown on the purchase screen in the App and on the App Store.

  • Songs you are invited to and join are always free, however many you join.
  • Recording, overdubbing, adjusting levels and start offsets, exporting the finished mix, and inviting members cost nothing extra.
  • Songs you have already created keep working without a subscription.

A subscription renews automatically for the same length unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel or change your plan at any time from Subscriptions in the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID; the Developer never receives your card number or other payment details.

The App does not display ads.

3. Display names and recordings

  • You enter a "display name" when you join a song. Your display name is visible to the other members of that song.
  • The name of a recording you submit, and its submitted / approved / rejected status, are visible to every member of that song. See the Privacy Policy for details.
  • You must not use a display name or a recording name that contains another person's name or contact details, wording contrary to public order and morals, wording that defames others, or a third party's trademark.
  • You must not record or upload another person's copyrighted work or performance without permission from the rights holder.
  • The Developer may delete or hide any display name or recording it deems inappropriate, without prior notice.

4. Share codes and managing members

  • Anyone who knows a song's share code (6 characters) can join that song. You are responsible for managing your share codes.
  • The person who created the song (the song's owner) can remove members from the song. Even after someone is removed, the recordings they submitted and had approved up to that point remain in the song.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not do any of the following.

  • Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  • Unauthorized access to the App or its related systems, or placing an excessive load on them
  • Improperly spreading a share code to people who have not been allowed to join
  • Impersonating another person, or making unauthorized use of another person's identification key or device
  • Modifying, disassembling, or otherwise reverse engineering the App
  • Infringing the rights or interests of others

6. Disclaimer

  • The Developer does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the App's content or features.
  • To the extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for any damage arising from your use of the App.
  • The App and its song sharing features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued without notice. The Developer is not liable if the App cannot be used because of your network conditions, a device problem, or similar causes.
  • Songs and recordings stored on the server may be lost through failures, migrations, anti-abuse measures, your own deletion operations, and similar events. Their preservation is not guaranteed.

7. Intellectual property

Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the App's program, screen design, and other expressions belong to the Developer or to the rightful rights holders. You must not copy, modify, republish, or distribute them without the Developer's permission. The copyright in the audio you record belongs to you as the person who made that recording.

8. Restrictions on use

If you breach these Terms, the Developer may take necessary measures, such as deleting recordings or songs or suspending your use of the App.

9. Changes to these Terms

The Developer may change these Terms as needed. If there are material changes, we will notify you within the App or by a method the Developer deems appropriate.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute regarding the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Developer's location.

11. Notation based on the Japanese Act on Specified Commercial Transactions

The notation required by the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions will be disclosed without delay upon request. Contact: support@pairmoni.com
