Overview
A game where you read, in hiragana, the name of a single station pointed to on a rail map with the station names removed. Ten questions per set.
- Each question crops and zooms into a different part of the map. The map may be rotated, or have its colours removed
- Your rating moves after every question. Play three rounds and a rank appears (from 普通 "ordinary" to 快特 "kaitoku"/"rapid limited express")
- You don't choose the difficulty. You're given ten questions matched to your current rating
- Share a passphrase with someone to compete on the same ten questions (a "challenge letter")
- Your record is stored on your device. When you change phones, you can move it with a transfer code
The rail maps are redrawn under our own original rules, based on the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's "National Land Numerical Information (railway data)." They do not use any railway operator's official route maps, line symbols, or corporate emblems.
